Eliminate POE problems
Remotely restart access points, IP cams and radios automatically. Keep all your POE gear running reliably. This midspan injector will power a mix of 802.af, at or non-a* devices. 8-wire (4-pair) power safely delivers 50W per port. Extensive surge protection is provided on every line, protecting outdoor radios.
Voltage and current meters let you debug and resolve issues remotely. An environmental sensor jack and one free temperature / humidity probe are included.
Four control relays can be used to control AC or DC devices like failover switches, radio resets, chargers or cooling fans. No UPS is necessary, just add your own external batteries for instant switch-over. An internal trickle charger keeps batteries topped off. The injector is also easy-to-use in DC-only applications. Add reliability. Simplify installations. Reduce cabling and clean up your installations. Eliminate the bulky UPS and separate POE bricks.
Auto-Reboot and Web Control The injector can automatically sense when an IP device goes down and reboot by power cycling. Controls are easy to use from a script or web browser. Scripting, syslog, AutoPing automatic reboot, and WOL are standard features. Removable rack/wall mount brackets are included. Eliminate the UPS Directly connect an external 48V battery string for true uninterrupted power without a UPS.
The injector senses both battery and AC power, switching instantly to the best power source. The built-in trickle charger will float charge 48V batteries up to 54V. Full 200W Power, Fast Surge Suppression Power surges, static, and nearby lightning cause spikes on POE lines. Dual gas-tube and SIDAC protectors on the POE lines provide clean, safe POE to keep your equipment running rock-solid. The injector combines a 200W power supply with battery backup plus an active current monitor that detects and corrects overloads. Get reliable operation through power surges and brown-outs, even on 802.3af POE+ equipment that may not negotiate reliably on other injectors and switches.
